When you get a Facebook message from your best friends Mom asking for a family photo shoot, it's a no brainer to just make it happen. Schedules are hectic and people are busy, but we got it together (even through the almost cancellation due to a black eye that happened the day of). And I'm so glad we did! I love these people! They have been in my life for a very long time (I will not share numbers lol) but they are family to me. So we visited one of my favorite spots in southern Calvert county to shoot.

 This lovely group of people is my best friend and her beautiful family. Some of my favorite people on the planet. I have tried to nail them down for a family shoot for a few years now, but they are always so busy with the kids sports and other extra curricular activities it's almost impossible. As a matter of fact if her mother didn't ask for it, it may not have happened.

We WILL be doing one more before the end of the year!! Do you hear me Shannon?!!?

It was a beautiful day to shoot such a lovely family. We had so much fun walking around the yard and playing with the girls! And I love shooting around and in people's homes. Here are just a few of my favorites.

Mom walked away and let us play!! Sometimes that's when the best pictures are made! Isn't she gorgeous!! And having so much fun!!

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of hanging out with and photographing this beautiful family for a few hours. We started at the park. My thought was to find a nice pretty spot, take a few pretty posed pictures.

But the kids had other ideas. And that was great too!!

When Mom, Dad, and myself were all worn out from chasing them, we headed to the beach for some more fun in the sun. It was such a beautiful day for an outdoor family session.
